Seaside Fourth of July and Old Fashioned Social

The Independence Day festivities get started in at 11am as the parade marches through the streets of Seaside, Oregon. Join in and follow the end of the parade to the Museum and Butterfield Cottage for an Old-Fashioned Social. The Seaside Chamber of Commerce brings you a fabulous street fair that begins at 4pm and the best and biggest 4th of July fireworks display on the North Coast of the U.S. beginning at 10pm! Fireworks can be seen from many oceanfront rooms, all areas of the beach and prom.

The Seaside Museum & Historical Society Presents–
11am Parade Begins
11am – 4pm Old Fashion Social 570 Necanicum Dr. Free admission to Museum, New Pacific Jazz Band, Continuous Cakewalk, Children’s Games, Food Booths, Raffle Drawings, Silent Auction, Bingo

The Seaside Chamber of Commerce Presents:
3 pm Oregon Crusaders Concert at Quatat Park–Sponsored by C by the Sea
4pm Dusk “Team iQuad” Stunt Kites on the beach in front of the Turnaround
4–8 pm Street Fair West end of Broadway Sponsored by Jenny Contracting
Oyster Shooters Band, Petting Zoo/ Providence Seaside Hospital Hand washing , Sand Art, Balloon & Caricature artists, C.E.R.T., 94.9 FM , Kiwanis Firewood & more.
10 pm Fireworks begins, tune your radio to 94.9 FM for the musical score that accompanies
the Fireworks. Set and fired by volunteer power of Kriegshauser Family Pyrotechnicians
The Seaside Chanber of Commerce warns: ILLEGAL FIREWORKS PROHIBITED– violators will be ticketed! THE POSSESSION AND/OR USE OF ILLEGAL FIREWORKS (MORTARS, FIRECRACKERS, MISSILES, ROMAN CANDLES, ETC.) IS PROHIBITED IN THE CITY OF SEASIDE – ILLEGAL FIREWORKS ARE SUBJECT TO CONFISCATION – THIS IS A CRIMINAL OFFENSE AND VIOLATORS ARE SUBJECT TO ARREST WITH A FINE OF $500.00 PER VIOLATION (ORS 480.110 to 480.165).
Be sure to remember to bring your battery operated FM radio to the beach and tune to 94.9 FM for the musical score that accompanies the Fireworks.
The fireworks show is supported by donations from The City of Seaside, Shilo Inns, The Resort at Seaside, WorldMark by Wyndham, NW Natural Gas, The Reserve at Gearhart, Fred Meyer, Seaside Signal, The Daily Astorian & Seaside- Sun.com, Jenny Contracting, C by the Sea LLC, Pacific Power, 94.9FM Radio, Oregon State Parks.
July 5th
9 am SOLV Beach Clean-up– check in at Turnaround, Ave. “U” & Prom or 12th & Prom
2 pm Where the Stars Play concert at Quatat Park Bond Street Blues Band
5-8 pm Seaside First Saturday Art Walk– look for “Art Walk” signs/balloons– get a map at your first stop or download map from event calendar at seasidechamber.com
July 6th
10am Beach Worship Service Held at foot of Ave A just off the Prom, one block south of the Turn-around.
